(New York, NY) --There are one-hit wonders, and there are bands that build a massive base with face-to-face, show-to-show mojo--bands like Aerosmith, Springsteen and his E Street Band, Soundgarden, and now Rev Theory. The nomadic New York hard rock quintet has logged almost five years of relentless touring, sharing stages with Stone Temple Pilots, Buckcherry, Seether, and others. Last summer, they rocked 100,000 WWE wrestling fans, who adopted their song "Light It Up" as the theme to Wrestlemania XXIV. This summer, they're still ruling rock radio (and the top slot on Sirius Active Rock rankings) with "Far From Over," headlining the Monster Energy second stage at Crüe Fest 2, and leading tens of thousands of concertgoers in thundering chants of "Hell Yeah," the name of their first single from 2008's sophomore LP, Light It Up.

In a time when fans cling tight to hard-earned dollars, Rev Theory sold most of its records to concert ticket holders (racking up more venue sales than any band in their label's history). "We actually love playing acoustic, because it really gets to showcase the band musically and vocally--our bassist Matt was a vocal major at NYU, so it's kind of like having another lead singer in the band," lead vocalist Rich Luzzi says. "Plus it's always fun to be able to take some of your heavier songs and rearrange them."

The new Monster Energy Stage doubles the entertainment value at Crüe Fest 2 with five additional bands - Rev Theory, Cavo, Shram and 16 Second Stare plus one band chosen locally in select markets, showcasing the next generation of rock. With no change in ticket prices, rock fans will now see ten great rock bands for the price of one. For the cost of a Mötley Crüe concert, fans will see a day long rock festival with Mötley as the headliners. Crüe Fest 2 kicks off in Camden, NJ on July 19^th with tickets available now at www.LiveNation.com.

Crüe Fest 2 stars Mötley Crüe with Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and introduces Charm City Devils. The performances on the Monster Energy Stage will be staggered between the main stage acts creating a non-stop music event and adding to the overall festival atmosphere.

On Tuesday, June 30^th at 8PM Rev Theory will be playing a special acoustic set at the Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills, CA. We will be recording this special performance for our acoustic EP that we will be releasing later this summer.

A limited number of Rev Theory fans will be selected to attend this special night with 1 lucky fan also getting an autographed Epiphone Les Paul Special II signed by Rev Theory.

You may ask yourself "how do i enter my name to see this great show and win the guitar?”

That’s simple… all it takes is 3 easy steps.

1 - Promote the band on myspace, facebook, twitter, blogs, etc. directing them to any of the bands websites (myspace, facebook, twitter, etc).
*EXAMPLE: it can be posting a video on your facebook, sending a bulletin directing people to the bands myspace, or even posting a banner on your profile, etc, etc, etc… get creative!

2 - Take a screen shot of what you did!
